No rain for 2 weeks… what happened to my plants?

Despite no rain in this area for about 2 weeks, these plants planted in the ground remain healthy and well, without anyone watering them.

This was made possible by the SoliDrip automated irrigation system which has sensors to measure the exact water requirement per sq m of soil, so as to drip water as needed by the different plants.

See my different plants, ginger, various types of spinach, ornamentals growing well.

The soil looks slightly wet near the dripper head which is all the water the plants needed – no over watering. Water saved substantially.

More landscapes should be using this system to reduce water usage and improve the sustainability of their gardens.
